    Upgrade to Latest Version

Upgrade my ESET Endpoint products for Windows to the latest version

Automatic update is available on the pre-release update channel and will be enabled gradually for users in the following days and weeks. In the mean time, you can update Endpoint in a managed environment via a software install task from ESET PROTECT.

    Support Resources

ESET provides support in the form of Online Help (user guides), fully localized application and Online Help, online Knowledgebase, and applicable to your region, chat, email or phone support.

  2. When creating a software install task, you can choose the maximum time for which the user can postpone the reboot or if they can cancel it. You can also send a Shutdown (reboot) computer task to force a reboot.

ESET PROTECT (cloud) also allows for sending a Product upgrade task which will upgrade the product via the so-called micro PCU update the next time the user restarts the machine and it's resilient to installation issues or errors.

  3. ESET is a reputable security company that has been on the market for more than 30 years already. Out products do not perform any malicious actions  nor do contain a remote control function. Even the remote management agent cannot control the machine and merely maintenance connection between Endpoint and the ESET PROTECT server.

Also running a script cannot be considered malicious unless the script is malicious. Many legitimate programs and also Windows itself may run script for legitimate purposes.

The best would be if you could provide some screenshots for illustration but I'm sure there must be some misunderstanding of what you were seeing.
